Commissioning a sculpture is a collaborative process to create something meaningful and enduring for a public space, community setting, green space or home setting.

Through conversation and research, I am able to guide you through the process and develop a concept design, provided as a clay maquette. Considerations include: budget, materials, scale and site requirements.

I believe public sculpture plays an important role in placemaking. This approach was deeply influenced by my mentor and teacher, Tom Bass OM, whose work is grounded in totemic forms, that help people connect with one another and with the places they share.
