“The figure, either literal or abstracted in form, must carry meaning and presence in order to truly communicate.”

On Gundungurra Land, Southern Highlands, NSW Australia.
My art practice is deeply grounded in traditional sculpture making techniques, working across mediums of clay, plaster, wax, cast bronze, cast aluminium and ceramics.
I developed a deep respect for the human form and its expressive potential through figurative studies under Tom Bass AM, which serve as the cornerstone of my creative process.
At the heart of my practice is the desire to convey meaning and a sense of being. My intention is to create sculptures that people connect with, works that reveal our inner world, that speak without words, inviting reflection.
